Which method is best - a Supplier Account / Seller Account or my own Merchant Account?

Accepting payments online without a merchant account has many benefits; usually, a merchant would have to obtain an Internet Merchant Account from their bank (IMA), which can often prove difficult and time consuming. This is especially true for new and small businesses without a great deal of trading history.

As well as this, you would also have to obtain and pay for a separate Payment Service Provider (PSP) and a secure server certificate (SSL).

This can easily become frustrating and expensive with separate associated fees and charges, and that says nothing of the amount of time and effort it takes!
